Europe will always hold a special place in my heart.

My love affair with this continent began in 2018. During the fall semester of that year, I had the incredible opportunity to study abroad in Luxembourg. Despite being European and having visited the continent numerous times as a child, this was the first instance I found myself traveling alone, enabling me to truly immerse myself into a new culture.

Europe, with its diverse culinary delights, captivating cultures, warm-hearted people, and distinct way of life, profoundly transformed my entire outlook on the world. It broadened my horizons and expanded my understanding of what was possible at that juncture in my life. As part of my program, I had the privilege of exploring Europe's treasures during the weekends, and over the course of the semester, I was fortunate enough to travel nine different countries: Luxembourg, France, Portugal, Italy, Germany, Belgium, Spain, England/UK, and the Netherlands.

Tenerife, Spain: A Paradise in the Atlantic

Tenerife, the largest of the Canary Islands, offers travelers an enchanting blend of natural beauty and vibrant culture. This Spanish gem, located in the Atlantic Ocean, boasts stunning landscapes, including the otherworldly Teide National Park with its towering volcano, and pristine beaches lapped by crystal-clear waters. Whether you're an adventure seeker, a beach lover, or a history enthusiast, Tenerife has something for everyone.

Nestled in the heart of the Alsace region, Colmar is a picturesque town straight out of a fairytale. Its enchanting cobblestone streets, half-timbered houses adorned with colorful flowers, and serene canals make it one of the most captivating destinations in France.

I might be biased since Italy holds a special place in my heart as one of my favorite destinations in the world. However, my recent adventure to Sardinia was a departure from my usual trips to Sorrento and the coastal regions. Sardinia, in contrast, offered a serene, upscale experience that was simply breathtaking.

The food was very fresh and delicious. Beyond the culinary delights, the island had so much more to offer, including amazing restaurants, fun nightlife, and pristine, peaceful beaches. Sardinia truly exceeded my expectations with its unique blend of tranquility and luxury.
